Siden slutten av Mars/starten av April har en oppdretter her i Norge jobbet for å få tilbake i alle fall én av to hunder som ble solgte til en oppdretter i Tsjekkia. Grunnen var bekymring etter å ha sett nylige bilder av hundene som den tsjekkiske oppdretteren hadde, spesielt pelsløshet rundt øynene og mye tannsten vitnet om at ikke alt var så bra som det hadde blitt fremstilt.
I samarbeid med en svensk oppdretter klarte de å få tilbake en hund som den svenske oppdretteren hadde solgt vedkommende i tsjekkia. Hunden ankom Sverige, i grei forfatning, men med mye tannsten. Hunden var ett år gammel og underutviklet.
Den norske oppdretteren jobbet videre med å få tilbake hundene som var blitt solgt fra Norge, og det så ut som at ting kunne ordne seg. Men, så ville oppdretter i tsjekkia komme i kontakt med tidligere fórvert til hunden, og delte da på Facebook og i FB gruppen Lancashire Heeler Czech republic, et bilde tatt av tidligere fórvert og ba om at de som visste hvem som hadde tatt bildet kontaktet henne.
Til tross for at den norske oppdretteren hadde gått ut med informasjon og delt historien, vist til bilder og diverse som viste klart at tilstanden ikke var optimal hos den tsjekkiske oppdretteren, valgte noen å tipse den tsjekkiske oppdretteren om den tidligere forverten. Og takket være dette, satte oppdretteren seg på bakbena og nektet selge hunden tilbake til Norge.
Den norske oppdretteren var i kontakt med den Tsjekkiske Kennel Klubben og Veterinærmyndigheter i Tsjekkia.

Dear Madame,
I will inform you of your complaint regarding a possible violation of the conditions of care for dogs of the Lancashire Patar breed, we inform you of the following:
The breeder Adéla Dvorská, born 13.9.1979, living in Borovnička No.138, 544 75 Borovnička, uses exclusively the building of the family house for breeding dogs and cats and the breeding environment could be assessed only during one inspection in 2019, which was announced to the breeder in advance with a large time advance, so that the breeder was able to prepare for the inspection and allowed access to the house. Since then, veterinary inspectors have not been allowed access as part of the inspections carried out. The last inspection of the kept animals was carried out on 5 January 2023, when the breeder only showed part of the kept dogs and cats before entering the dwelling house. The zoohygienic conditions of the breeding could not be assessed. The medical reports requested by the regional veterinary administration showed, among other things, that the breeder seeks professional veterinary assistance only in extreme cases when the animal's life is at risk, does not complete the treatment started, changes doctors and facilities, and presents herself under two names.
On the basis of a reasonable suspicion that all animals are kept in inadequate conditions and that their cruelty is taking place, the Regional Veterinary Administration of the State Veterinary Administration for the Hradec Králové Region filed a criminal complaint under Section 59 of Act No. 141/1961 Coll., on Criminal Procedure, under No. SVS/2023/048483-H, the Police of the Czech Republic. To date, the Regional Veterinary Administration has not yet been informed whether and when the search will take place.

Den norske oppdretteren gjorde da ytterligere forsøk på å komme i kontakt med oppdretter i Tsjekkia for å kjøpe tilbake hunden. Selv om oppdretter i Tsjekkia fortsatt skyldte 16000,- for hunden, ble hun tilbudt penger for at hunden skulle få komme tilbake til Norge.
Oppdretter i Tsjekkia gav ingen respons.
I dag, 2.9.23, fikk den norske oppdretteren tilsendt følgende på Facebook fra Jane Bliznakova:

"Veterinarians found over 200 abused animals in a farm in Borovnička in Trutnovsk
Borovnička (Trutnovsko) - In the second half of August, veterinarians and police officers discovered more than 200 abused animals during a house search at a breeder in Borovnička in Trutnovsko. In particular, it was almost 200 chickens, 11 dogs and 12 cats. The animals were taken from the breeder by decision of the municipal office in Dvőr Králové nad Labem and placed with other breeders. Petr Majer, spokesman for the State Veterinary Administration (SVS), told ČTK. According to veterinarians, this is an extraordinary case due to the amount of animals taken and their composition.
Veterinarians filed a criminal complaint against the breeder in April this year based on previous findings. "The case was very complex, the breeder repeatedly did not cooperate with the veterinary inspectors, did not let them into the facility and always showed only part of the animals," said the spokesperson. Vets could not determine the condition of the animals. The smell of ammonia wafted from the building.
Therefore, part of the criminal report included a proposal that the public prosecutor allow a house search of the breeder, during which the veterinarians could find out the actual number and health status of the farmed animals and the breeding conditions inside the building. During the inspection, the veterinarians discovered gross negligence of veterinary care, breeding of animals in completely inappropriate conditions. For example, the animals suffered from various inflammations.
In addition to chickens, dogs and cats, there were also two ponies, three goats, a goose, a guinea fowl and three quails on the farm. The animals ended up in various facilities in Bohemia and Moravia."
Den norske oppdretteren jobber nå med å finne ut hvor de to hundene som er fra Norge befinner seg, i håp om å få de tilbakeført til Norge.
Det er også en engelsk importert Lancashire Heeler som var hos oppdretteren (har vært i alle fall), samt muligens en tispe til fra importens første valpekull.
Lancashire Heeler Norge vil delta aktivt for å hjelpe til.
